|GENERAL INFORMATION ON NATIONAL MARKETING SYSTEMS©.
All three programs of the NATIONAL MARKETING SYSTEMS© are professionally conducted marketing sessions. At our marketing sessions, participants may offer
for trade and/or exchange anything of value they own which is legal, moral and ethically acceptable, subject to our Rules and Guidelines. No monetary value may be
given on any bid. When making an offer or bid, each Offeror or Bidder must do so based only on what he personally perceives the value to be. We engage in trades
of VALUES not dollar amounts. (Income property and/or established real estate with a current appraisal are the exception to the no dollar amount policy.) Basically,
you simply bid something you have for something you want. Bid only what it is worth to you.
Some of the items that are often up for trade at our marketing sessions and that we consider Currencies are: Real Estate; Vehicles; Art; Trade Club Credits; Gem
Stones; Jewelry; Restaurant or Hotel Script; Along with many different kinds of Merchandise and Miscellaneous items, including artifacts. Click on Currencies for a
more detailed explanation of currencies.
We use a FLAT, VISUAL, EXCHANGE AUCTION BOARD©. We record offers and bids on prominently displayed sheets of white paper, referred to as boards. We
begin by placing an item at the Top of The Board. Then the moderator solicits bids from the group. Bidders initially bid on the item at the Top of The Board. However
once one bid takes place, Bidders may bid on anything on the board, the top of the board and/or what has been bid to the top of the board. This procedure continues
as long as anyone wishes to bid on anything. When all bids are completed, the board is declared closed, and the Offeror who placed the Item at the Top of the
Board gets first choice to accept the bid of his or her choice from the board. Then, each person who has an offer on the board is given a chance to accept or decline
the bids that have been placed on them. Trading continues until all bids have been accounted for. All bids go up, and all trades go down, therefore, no one ever has
to take anything he did not bid on. We will give a detailed explanation at the start of the session. Additionally, we are happy to answer questions during and after
DEFINITION OF AN EXCHANGER OR TRADER: To be considered a fair, honest, intelligent, and credible exchanger/trader, one must believe that what is offered is a
fair exchange for what you receive. The key question is: “would you accept what you offered as a fair exchange? Those who negotiate exchanges by offering a
fair value for fair value are exchangers or traders. Those who misrepresent the value of a trade and/or persuade another through deception or other unfair advantage
to accept something of lesser value is not a trader or exchanger. In the long run, if we offer a fair value in exchange for what we want, we will continue making
TO BE SUCCESSFUL, ALL ONE NEEDS TO DO IS TO OFFER FAIR VALUE FOR FAIR VALUE. The basis for exchanging and trading is to trade or exchange what you
have for what you want. One of the best ways to get what you want is to overbid your perceived value of the item you want. The real value of anything is not what it
cost, its appraised value, a price tag, or what someone claims. The real value of anything is what someone will pay you for it. Value is subjective. As such, Value is
quantitatively different from individual to individual. The value depends upon the UTILITY and COST of the traded items to the traders or exchanger. Payments can
be in cash, trade or exchange. Remember, at our marketing sessions, we do not exchange cash. We trade in the Currencies described.
WISDOM is knowing what to do next, SKILL is knowing how to do it and VIRTUE is doing it! David Starr Johnson .
Knowing why you are doing something before you do it is far better than wondering why you did something after you have done it. Have goals. Make offers which will
advance you toward your goals. To be more successful, every participant at our marketing sessions has a responsibility to every other participant. Everyone will
benefit when we exchange ideas and information, not just goods and services! A lot of people attend a marketing session to make an exchange or trade and just for
the fun of attending and playing the game. This is an exciting and infectious experience. One of the predominant reasons why people exchange or trade is to get to
a cash conversion. However, many trade to acquire equities, secure ownership for personal reasons, just to obtain something new or different, or just pride of
We respect and enforce all participants rights to fair and equal treatment. The same rules apply to everyone. Our goal is to provide a fair and level market place for
the exchange or trade of items on the boards or individually between the boards.
WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU!
